L’OTHELLO de SHAKESPEARE est déjà une réécriture d’un texte de l’italien GIRALDI CINTHIO (1565). SHAKESPEARE propose son OTHELLO en 1604, au moment du centenaire de la naissance de CINTHIO (1504-1573).
